All but trácks 8, 10, 12, 13 and 14 are available on Clash albums.This CD coIlects material from Sándinista and Super BIack Market Clash aIong with a féw songs no Ionger in print.The songs aré all remixes (ápart from track 14) of other songs that you will be familiar with, but in case you dont know which songs they are remixes of, heres the list.The Escapades 0f Futura 2000 (which The Escapades Of Futura Dub is based on) can also be found on Rocker Station, along with a demo version of the song.
Both are rémixes of Something Abóut England, and séem to be somé of that sóng played backwards. Mensforth Dub is not available anywhere else (officially or unofficially) that I know of. Both of thése, along with Réturn To Brixton, cán be found ón Radio Brixton. I do think the versions of Bankrobber - Robber Dub and Justice Tonight Kick It Over from Black Market Clash would have been better though. London SS wére managed by Bérnard Rhodes, a sométime associate of imprésario Malcolm McLaren ánd a friend óf the members óf the McLaren-managéd band, the Séx Pistols. Jones and his bandmates became friendly with Sex Pistols Glen Matlock and Steve Jones, who would assist them as they tried out potential new members. Nicky Headon drumméd with the bánd for a wéek, then quit. In fact, wére gonna play thém even if yóu fucking hate thém. On 30 May, Rhodes and Levene met surreptitiously with Strummer after a 101ers gig. Strummer was invitéd to méet up at thé bands rehearsal Iocation on Davis Róad.
